Does Humble, Texas have any good breakfast places you ask?
After watching some big sweet breakfast gal I was in the mood for a good sweet breakfast but I wasn’t in the mood to cook so I went searching for the best breakfast in Humble TX.
On a road trip through New Caney, Humble, and the Kingwood area I was surprised to find some great places to grab a bite to eat. Engaging with the local community was a fun experience.

Local I-HOP restaurant
Welcome to stacks of world-famous IHOP pancakes, The IHOP family restaurant chain is in many neighborhoods and they are making dining with them even more convenient with the IHOP ‘n go app. When looking at their extensive menu don’t get lost in the pancakes and an array of delicious freshly made omelettes and forget they offer more than breakfast. Check out the juicy IHOP burgers, and Atlantic salmon. There is something about IHOP that brings out my inner child.
First Watch
An award-winning breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu includes organic, gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options with many fresh ingredients. Be sure to check the savory crepes they are delicious. They do offer alcoholic beverages at this location, as well.
Toasted Yolk
This restaurant has many great options from Blueberry donuts to churro-style Donuts for a starter. Breakfast Tacos, Country Fried Steak, Avacado Toast, Granola Apple French toast, and Belgian waffles. They have a large selection of Eggs Benedict-style dishes on the Arnold menu. Just don’t forget their famous hash brown casserole. I guarantee you will not leave this place hungry.
Waffle House
The Waffle House is the world’s leading server of waffles, t-bone steaks, hashbrowns, cheese ‘n eggs, country ham, pork chops, and grits. This location is in the same parking lot as the Humble Civic Center.
Humble City Cafe
One of the most affordable spots with its budget-friendly menu options they offer the traditional fare of Omeletes and Pancakes and Homemade Biscuits. You will not leave hungry with their huge portions of homemade favorites. They also have a wide selection of sweet options for those who like their dessert first thing in the morning from Mississippi Mud Cake to Triple Chocolate cake although I think my favorite is the Skillet Pie which is Hot Apple Pie cooked in Brandy Sauce and served in a Skillet with Vanilla Ice Cream. I haven’t forgotten this is about finding the best breakfast in Humble TX.
Country Scrambled Cafe 2
Their menu includes a great selection of sandwiches. The serve my favorite breakfast sandwich here. The Western sandwich is grilled sourdough, american cheese, scrambled eggs, ham, onions, green peppers, and pickles. They also serve a mean chicken sandwich that is delicious.
Black Bear Diner
Where they serve breakfast all day!
Tita’s Taco House
This is the place to go for the best breakfast tacos, friendly service and a true Mexican flair.
The Union Kitchen
Be sure to check out the “Elvis” waffle which is Belgium waffles with creamy peanut butter, banana foster sauce, candied bacon, whipped cream, and candied Texas pecans. This is a must but they also have amazing cinnamon rolls and pancakes.
Raffa’s Waterfront Grill
Known as a destination where contemporary American cuisine and waterfront dining come together. They serve an excellent traditional French Toast to a crab cake benedict that will make you want to come back but the juicy steakburger was a lunch favorite if you are in the mood for a brunch.
Brick House
The mozzarella bricks and spicy marinara are among my favorite things at Brick House. They have a full-service bar that offers brunch too. The avocado toast and the seventh-inning stretch open-faced ham sandwich served with a sunny-side-up egg are among the many breakfast favorites here.
If you are on the way to George Bush Intercontinental Airport then just know you are very close to Humble Texas and the best breakfasts are found in Humble, Texas.
The places I explored are for breakfast lovers who want more than cold cereal and are looking for a good reason to go on a delicious adventure. The range of options and fresh ingredients are reason enough to enjoy a little ride to this side of town. As a bonus, most of the places I visited also offered dinner items and fun-filled kid’s menus.
