Mother’s Day is special and is the perfect time to open the backyard for summer and spend some quality time with the whole family.

I love to search out some new grilling recipes to combine with my favorite family traditions. All to wow Mom and treat her to a delicious meal. What better way to say I love you than to tell her the only thing she needs to worry about is enjoying a fruity cocktail?
The Mother’s Day crowd is usually in full swing before you know it with Dad firing up the grill. Signaling the party has begun. While the grill is heating up it is always nice to have a few appetizers to appease Mom and keep her off her feet. Depending on how long it will be before you serve food, this is a good guide to how many appetizers to serve, depending on the length between when you will be serving the main course. These are a few that are crowd-pleasers. Smirnoff Pineapple Vodka would make a nice treat in this cocktail.
